Citizen science projects provide many opportunities for experimental, non-traditional, hands-on and outside-the-classroom educational activities. Just see some of the teacher testimonies on the right!
We want to work with you to develop and generate outcomes that motivate learning, foster scientific knowledge and inspire inquiry.
Together we can design and plan activities that meet the learning objectives of your curriculum. We can design activities that introduce basic biology concepts, showcase everyday microorganisms, or highlight the importance of healthy ecosystems. The effects of invasive species, the roles of microorganisms, and the importance of biodiversity are key themes of this citizen science project.
Educational activities range from visiting your classroom to organizing outdoor hikes. All activities should be designed to include a component that fits into the bigger picture of this project, allowing everyone the opportunity to contribute as a citizen scientist.
